Searching the Globe Court Docket
Begin at Arizona Public Access, where you type a verification word to get in. The best route is a Globe case number search. Keep the alphabetic prefix, the numeric part, and the exact court intact. If the number is unknown, a name search works. Common names make the court filter essential.
- Read Globe Municipal, Globe Regional, or Superior Court from the source document.
- Enter the full case number or search the party name.
- Choose the matching Globe court in the dropdown.
- Read the newest event, status, and setting.
- Call the proper Globe custodian if the record is missing or urgent.
Public Access is informational only and refreshes weekly. eAccess offers a second channel. It covers eligible public Superior Court civil and criminal filing images after July 1, 2010. The Globe Municipal and Regional clerks keep their own limited-jurisdiction files. Each layer answers a different question. Public Access can pin down a Globe court, number, event, and setting. eAccess may supply an eligible Superior Court filing image. For a plain or certified copy, the Globe Superior Court clerk issues those. Justice and municipal documents stay with their own offices. So eAccess is not a universal Globe document store. When eAccess shows no image, contact the court that filed it. Probate and juvenile documents fall outside that service. Sealed or restricted material stays unavailable regardless. A focused Globe request should name one existing item. Include its date, the case number, and the copy type needed. That detail lets the clerk tell a public access gap from a lawful restriction. Custody, access, copies, and certification still depend on the named Globe court.
Four Globe Court Contacts
Several custodians share one city, so Globe's court system runs several phone lines. Globe Municipal Court lists 928-425-0471. Globe Regional and the county court complex use 928-425-3231. The Clerk of Superior Court answers at 928-402-8866, and the law library and self-help center lists 928-402-8768.
Globe court routing
928-425-0471 for Globe Municipal matters
928-425-3231 for Globe Regional or county court routing
928-402-8866 for Superior Court records
When you call, give the clerk the Globe court name, full case number, caption, and document date. Sharing a building or administrative staff does not make one clerk custodian of every Globe docket.
Globe Municipal Court Basics
Globe Municipal Court handles city ordinance violations, city traffic, and state-law misdemeanors within municipal jurisdiction. Globe Regional Justice Court takes precinct traffic, misdemeanors, limited civil matters, small claims, evictions, and preliminary felony proceedings. Felonies, general civil, domestic, probate, and juvenile cases belong to Superior Court. A 2022 intergovernmental agreement moved administration and case management for Globe Municipal criminal misdemeanor and criminal traffic filings to Globe Justice Court. The key point is local. Administrative service and court identity can differ. Keep Globe Municipal as the court identity when the citation says so. Regional staff may still administer the file. Case type narrows any search fast. A city ordinance matter points to Globe Municipal. A county misdemeanor or preliminary felony stage points to Globe Regional. A felony prosecution, general civil suit, domestic case, probate matter, or juvenile matter sits at the Superior Court level. Some categories are restricted or excluded online. Jurisdiction still identifies the clerk even when the portal cannot display the case.
Globe Docket Administration Since 2022
That agreement explains why you may talk to Globe Justice Court staff. The record may still be a Globe Municipal one. It did not turn every city citation into a regional justice case. Search the named court first. Give staff the municipal case number rather than assuming a transfer. Precision also matters when a search returns nothing. Ask whether the event belongs to Globe Municipal. Ask whether its local ordinance category is excluded from statewide remote access, and ask which counter holds the public record. Searching only Globe Regional may hide the municipal identity. Calling only the city line may still route you through the consolidated administrative channel. AJACS supports the limited-jurisdiction case-management environment. Superior Court has its own clerk and document routes. So a Globe search can cross more than one interface without anything being wrong. Keep a short log of each court checked. Note the number used and what the clerk confirmed. That record stops a municipal administrative handoff from looking like a legal transfer.
Court Dates and Settings in Globe
Trust the newest case event, the Gila hearings directory, and direct confirmation from the court. Old Globe settings stay in history after a reset. A filed motion to continue is only a request. The later signed order, minute entry, or calendar event does that.
| Date | The newest controlling setting |
|---|---|
| Time | Docket call or individual hearing time |
| Court | Municipal, Regional Justice, or Superior |
| Judicial officer | The officer shown when populated |
| Setting type | Arraignment, pretrial, motion, trial, sentencing, or review |
Dial 928-425-0471 for a municipal setting and 928-425-3231 for Globe Regional or county routing. A public video link allows viewing only. It does not authorize remote appearance. Note the setting type, not just the date. An arraignment covers charge and plea. A pretrial conference manages the case. A motion hearing addresses a request. A trial decides contested issues. A sentencing listing is not the sentence itself. The judgment or minute entry gives the result and may need a separate copy.
Globe Docket Microfilm Route
For older Superior Court records in Globe, the clerk's counter is your best bet. Go in person. County records from 2015 list fiche, 16mm, and 35mm equipment, and note that some old criminal film was never digitized. So a missing web image proves nothing about whether a Globe record still exists.
Call the Superior Court clerk at 928-402-8866 before you drive over. Ask if the case sits on archival film. Ask whether inspection equipment works. Ask how to order a plain or certified copy. Also have the full case number and the exact document title ready. The clerk must quote current plain-copy, certification, and archival retrieval fees. Staff also need time to screen restricted material before releasing anything.
Shape an archival request narrowly. Name the Globe court, the rough filing period, the caption, and one or two document titles. Staff can often pull the case history first. That helps you refine what you want. That step separates a complaint from a minute entry, signed order, or judgment. It also spares you unrelated pages. The old-film evidence supports this access route, though it cannot promise same-day retrieval or certification.
Traffic Tickets in Globe
Start with the court name on your Globe citation. Globe police and ordinance matters usually land in Globe Municipal. Citations from the county, sheriff, or state also occur. Those in the southern precinct generally go to Globe Regional. The statewide search lets you query by name, number, court, and CAPTCHA. It also has a vehicle-registration-hold checkbox. That checkbox is not a full traffic search.
Defensive driving runs $209 at both Globe Regional and Globe Municipal. That subtotal takes effect April 1, 2026. School tuition is extra. Court approval governs eligibility and deadlines. Note that paying can resolve the charge as a plea or disposition. Ask about contesting, a hearing, and payment plans before the appearance date. Ask what payment legally means. The full jurisdiction list is in Gila County traffic tickets.
Globe Regional and Municipal Citations
Identical subtotals do not make identical dockets. Globe Regional and Globe Municipal remain separate courts with separate jurisdiction, so keep the issuing agency, court name, citation number, appearance date, and charge together.
| Clue | Globe Municipal | Globe Regional |
|---|---|---|
| Case source | City ordinance, city traffic, municipal misdemeanor | Precinct or county traffic, justice misdemeanor |
| Contact | 928-425-0471 | 928-425-3231 |
| 2026 subtotal | $209 plus school fee | $209 plus school fee |
When Public Access leaves out a local ordinance charge, call the court directly. Only the court itself can confirm an active balance, hold, warrant, or completed disposition.
Where Globe Cases Go
A Globe municipal case stays a municipal record unless an appeal or later authorized proceeding opens another docket. A preliminary felony can start at Globe Regional and later get a new Superior Court number after indictment or information. If the earlier number no longer shows the controlling result, search both stages.
Docket flow: Globe Municipal Court › Globe Regional Justice Court › Superior Court in Gila County
Not every case travels that far. It is simply a map of possible levels. A limited-jurisdiction appeal creates a Superior Court record, while the originating Globe history stays where it began. The Gila County court docket covers the county level.
Globe County-Seat Record Counter
The Gila County Courthouse and clerk sit at 1400 E. Ash Street, Globe, Arizona 85501. This is the first stop. Come here for a Superior Court case file, a certified copy, or old criminal film. The law library shares the same address. So does the self-help center. Expect court security screening. Ask before photographing a record or using a device.
Globe sits south of the Roosevelt Lake Bridge, in the county's southern court community. That geography explains why Globe Regional serves the southern precinct. It also makes the town the county-seat record hub. It does not shift municipal files to the Superior Court clerk. Get each record from the court that made it.
At the counter, know the difference between a case history and a filed document. The history is a dated index of events. The complaint, minute entry, order, or judgment underneath holds the operative text. Certification is a separate service, and some official uses require it. Ask for the exact document rather than "everything." Broad requests add search, screening, and copying work.
Missing Globe Ordinance Cases
Statewide Public Access excludes local ordinance charges. Also excluded are sealed cases, Orders of Protection, mental-health and probate matters, victim or witness data, and much juvenile information. So a blank Globe search tells you little on its own.
No Globe result: confirm the court and number, call the municipal or regional line, and request the specific public case history or document from that custodian.
Public Access updates weekly on Friday with information through Wednesday. A brand-new event may not show yet. A setting may be imminent. Confirm with the court rather than trusting the web result as current.
Once the clerk locates the Globe docket, start writing. Record the court, status, latest event date, and any new number. Then ask how to get the item. Options include remote access, a public terminal, film, or a focused Rule 123 request. These are different access paths. A missing online image does not settle whether the underlying public document can be inspected.
Globe Court Record Access Rules
Globe judicial-record access runs under Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123. The rule presumes access but allows limits for confidentiality, privacy, and court operations. A remote index can be narrower than counter access, and an event label is not the same as its filed order.
Key rules:
Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 governs access, fees, restrictions, and review.
A.R.S. § 13-911 governs eligible criminal sealing and later disclosure.
Say which court you need: Globe Municipal, Globe Regional, or Superior Court. Give the number, document title, and filing date. Add the inspection or copy choice, delivery preference, and certification need. If access is denied, ask the reason. Ask for the current Rule 123 review route. No public terminal or bulk request can bypass a lawful restriction.
