Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Search terms entered into a partner box go to the outside provider that runs it. That company processes the request and supplies the response. Gila County Court Docket does not maintain its own record of names or case numbers sent through the partner service.
Messages and Contact Submissions
A message sent by email can be kept while the inquiry and related correspondence are handled. The operating team does not disclose it to others unless the law requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard web-server and analytics records may capture basic technical details when a visitor opens a page:
- Date and time information for a page request
- The device's assigned IP address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent
- A referring website, when one is supplied
Cookies and Analytics
A cookie is a small file stored on a device. Cookies can support audience measurement and show, in aggregate, how visitors navigate the resource. Analytics providers may combine those observations. Browser settings can reject cookies, but blocking them may affect how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, maintaining, and improving page performance
- Routing a submitted query to the selected search provider
- Measuring which materials visitors use
- Diagnosing errors and other technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
No Arizona case-record database is hosted, sold, maintained, or compiled by Gila County Court Docket. The resource describes the Gila County Clerk of the Superior Court, local courts, and official statewide access channels. It does not turn visitor information into consumer reports and is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies supply the search tools shown on certain pages. Information submitted to a tool is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its retention, processing, and disclosure choices. Users should read those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Gila County Clerk of the Superior Court, court portals, Arizona case-search services, legal-aid resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy terms apply. Those terms should be reviewed before personal details are supplied.
Some advertising providers may observe activity across websites to select targeted advertising. Their own systems perform that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- A search provider receiving a query through its tool
- Analytics vendors measuring use and performance
- Advertising networks serving page advertisements
- A government body or law-enforcement agency acting under valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for information collected through the resource. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure, however. Security measures reduce risk but cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. When the operator learns that a minor submitted such information, it will be removed.
Your Data Rights
Rights involving private-site visitor data depend on the law and service that apply. Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123 governs access to judicial records maintained by Arizona courts; it is not a consumer privacy law for analytics data held by a private website. Where applicable law provides a right, a visitor may:
- Request access to personal information held about the visitor
- Seek correction of inaccurate personal information
- Ask for deletion when the governing law permits it
- Decline certain processing where an applicable right exists
Updates to This Policy
Any revision will appear here with an updated effective date. Visitors should consult the current posted policy to learn whether its terms have changed.
